I was born in La Paz, Bolivia while my parents were transferred temporarily due to a work assignment from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Came back with my parents to Argentina after the assignment and lived there for 8 years before moving to Brooklyn, New York where I lived during my formative years.
Studied in New York and worked for a company at The World Trade Center until I was 21 years old and moved to Los Angeles, CA after attending my Brother's wedding and falling in love with the California weather.
My initial employment in Los Angeles was working for an international US Customs Broker and Freight Forwarding company and obtained my license from the US Treasury Department, US Customs Service in 1980. There I met my future husband, born in Costa Rica and my love affair with Costa Rica started while spending our honeymoon there.
We started our own business dealing with international trade and after 30 years decided to sell and retire in Costa Rica and now live in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We experienced the Pura Vida lifestyle and are very familiar with the people, country and customs.
Much time was spend in the international area and spend many years travelling to many countries involved with our work. After many considerations, we finally decided to retire and embrace this beautiful and peaceful place and look forward to help you and your families navigate all formalities and find your home in paradise.
